Luzerne County Head Start’s (LCHS) Head Start and Early Head Start programs have evolved to meet today’s challenges. Though the protocols may be different, our vision at LCHS remains the same: children growing and thriving in a supportive, nurturing environment of parents, family, neighborhood, and community.
LCHS is now enrolling eligible children, ages 3-5, for in-person preschool and comprehensive services for the fall of 2021. We will also resume outdoor only, in-person services for our Early Head Start program. Virtual services remain available to those families not yet ready to join us in-person. Whatever direction you chose, we are here to keep your early learner on the path to success.
