Luzerne County Head Start is inviting families to take part in its Roadmap for Progress event on Friday, Oct. 9. 

Through Roadmap for Progress, Head Start is giving its current and past parents the chance to explore career and educational advancement opportunities in one place. Community partners will share information on job openings, higher education programs and other resources that are available locally. Participants may also attend workshops related to these areas.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot of the agency’s Lynn Evans Biga Center, 23 Beekman St., Wilkes-Barre. For more information, contact Kati Autolitano at katia@hsweb.org or Kelly Lyons at kellyl@hsweb.org.
