ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST/ERSEA

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Social Service, Human Services or Related Field
  • Three (3) years’ related experience
  • Supervisory Experience

Responsibilities/Duties

In conjunction with ERSEA Team Members, apply professional expertise, monitoring, coaching, training and oversight in the Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance service area per Performance Standards in all Head Start Preschool/Pre-K Counts programs, prioritizing low income, eligible children, pregnant women and their families. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the enrollment, selection and attendance of HS/Pre-K Counts children to ensure that Head Start Program Performance Standards and regulations are met in the provision of services to families.

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus:

$500 payout will be paid upon successful completion of the first 90 days;

$500 payout after 1 year of service

Luzerne County Head Start requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal regulations. Position will require record check approval of driving record by LCHS Insurance Provider, as this position is considered a designated position requiring driving as an essential job function. Proof of Degree/Certification and Experience Required to meet the Qualifications for position

Salary/Annual: $ 45,394; Additional salary adjustment for Advanced Education
Bilingual Adjustment in pay of 5% for English/Spanish language abilities
