Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in Public Relations, Grant Writing or related discipline 

Responsibilities/Duties

Provide the lead role in Public Relations for the agency while maintaining collaborative partnering efforts with outside community agencies for the purposes of grant writing, public relations, assessing community needs. Research grant programs, write and or assist in the preparation of funding applications for submission to county, state, and federal agencies, private foundations, and/or local businesses.  Responsible for the agency Annual Report, public relations and website content.

Luzerne County Head Start, Inc. requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal regulations. Proof of Degree/Certification and Experience Required to meet the Qualifications for position.

Full Time, Full Year (12 months); 37.5 hrs/wk
Exempt/Salaried position: $49,787
Additional pay for Advanced Degree
Those who possess Bilingual abilities (Eng/Spanish) – 5% additional pay

$1,000 Sign-On Bonus
